After successfully mapping the earth, then zooming into the streets of the world, Google has now set its sights on conquering the universe by mapping the stars with its new Star Droid app.
There is ofcourse 'Sky Map' already available on the Android marketplace but none that go to the lengths of pin pointing your location via GPS and using the camera to scan the sky for a specific constellation or star that your phone is pointed at. This will enable you to quickly ans easily identify what you're gazing up at becasue the identified stars will be labelled on the app.
So if you've got a T-Mobile G1 or HTC Magic, get ready to impress the ladies like never before. It's rumoured that this app could be available on these phones in just over a week.
